Family Sessions – meet the instruments
Our Family Sessions introduced our instruments, including the violin family, the baroque flute, its modern metal cousin, and the recorder family. Violinist Kathryn Parry introduced us to the violin, with guest appearances from the viola, cello and double bass, including live playing and and a chance to ask questions via the chat function. The weekly sessions alternated between strings and woodwind, with recorder player and flautist Lisete da Silva Bull introducing us to the huge and varied recorder family, and later on the flute.
